The Traumweld Group

The so-called Traumweld Group were a circle of magicians and occultists based in Berlin who were dedicated to exploring AMG ADA in the early 2000s. The direct connection with earlier practitioners was Nami Sanders Lohr who had met Jane Hurley-Cross in San Francisco and later in life travelled in Europe in search of the European roots of the AMG ADA system.

The Traumweld Group consisted of two distinct interests: those who sought to place AMG ADA and the Magica Fraxinus in the context of Northern European/Nordic magick and paganism, and those who sought to place it more within traditions of 'high' magick. The latter were mainly associated with Thelema or at least had a background in OTO style magick. Some in the group had belonged to the astrologically-based 'Red Dragon' group in the 1990s.
Membership fluctuated but the group conducted highly revealing magickal research into the AMG ADA system , along with numerous worthwhile innovations. They advanced the store of known chants (keys) and two adepts, Anna and Nold Zeigler, developed the practice of so-called 'Zeigler keys'. In general, the Group attempted to bring AMG ADA into the 21st century and help it grow beyond its dubious hippie counter-culture origins.

Much of the approach taken in the present website is informed by the work of the Traumweld Group.
