Nights of Rain

The term 'Nights of Rain' refers to those nights where dreamers experience true dreams (i.e. magickal dreams) independent of the rites of AMG ADA.
The rites of AMG ADA aim to provoke or induce dreams of a particular quality, content and intensity - the objective is to make decisive contact with a certain realm of dreams (Rhado). Where this occurs on nights where rites have not been performed it is referred to as the phenomenon of 'Nights of Rain'. On such nights adepts may experience dreams of Rhado even though they have done nothing to induce them.
The phenomenon is unpredictable. In some people it is a frequent experience, in others rare. It is said that such dreams tend to occur on nights of rain or storms or similar climatic conditions - thus they are so called - but this is not necessarily the case.
Dreams from 'Nights of Rain' have the same status as dreams that follow ritual. They should be recorded and analysed in the same way.
